I Am A Lucky B...tard !!

Today since very early the only thing I had in my had is that by tomorrow I will get my XBOX360, the time is comming and I can not wait, I preodered since 09/11 and I am 3rd of the list.
19:06 I call the store and ask what time they will open tomorrow so I can go early pick my console since they told me already they will not have a midnight launch. The answer was that they got some games and some accessories but the CONSOLES they will have it by wednesday 7/12 !?!
I was shocked ! I start thinking and decided to leave the house and go to the Town to ask some other stores if they will have it tomorrow.
19:28 I am at Town and I go to the next big store, I asked the salesman and he doesn't know anything about the XBOX 360, that moment I stopped for a moment and start thinking "WHAT A F.....CK IS GOING ON HERE?!?
I didn't give up, and run to another store and the answer is that they have no idea when they will have the consoles.
19:52 I am driving back home when I remember this Small Mobile Shop where I bought my PSP, I said it is in my way so I will have a check, when I got in there the first thing I saw in front of me was a box of a premium XBOX 360 in a glass stand!!! I asked the sales man and he told me they got it few hours before, I asked if I could buy it now?, he said of course we are still open!?!
My next question is what about the launch day?, he answered that he doesn't know anything about it !?!
OK!!! I WILL TAKE IT NOW !!!
I asked what games can I get?, he answered that they didn't get any games or accessories, so the next question is HOW MANY CONSOLES DID YOU GET? he said "THIS ONE YOU GOT IS THE ONLY ONE"!!!
I left the shop with my XBOX360 with a big stupid smile in my face and to tell the truth till now I can not believe what happened!!!
P.S.- I am not playing now cause I don't have any game yet, tomorrow probably!?!
I wish the double of the lucky I had today for All the Europeans members of the Planet Xbox !! and also to the Americans that didn't get one at the launch day!!

I preordered mine in July and paid it off and still I have not reveiced mine, which sux by the way.....let's hope the second shipments arrive very soon.....prolly this end of week or by the weekend.........

I preordered mine 01. sept. and its launchday in europe tomorrow.

But the store has managed to mail it this afternoon instead of a few days earlier, so i'll probably not get it tomorrow, perhaps saturday at the earliest, probably not until monday... Takes 2-3 days by mail...

Very lucky, like oneill and Recon73, I preordered in July, paid in full, made #14 on the first shipment pre-order, and still have nothing to show for it today. Everytime I go to a store to play the 360, the line of pre-pubescent kids is too long to endure. I got nothing. NOTHING! But, since all the games I want are pushed back til `06, not too concerned either.

Hahahhaha samething happened to me. I went to the same place I got my psp and they only had one. Only difference was that I got mines a day after launch

Nice story, i had a lot of luck getting my 360 aswell.
I phoned Argos (one of UK's biggest retailers) last Thursday (as i had been doing for about week n' half) and i was in shock to hear that they had 360 premiums in stock, as i was ordering the operator told me that the last 360 had just been sold, so it's possible i got maybe the 2nd to last or even the last 360 available to buy in the UK.

And as you can imagine i was like :dancing: for a good few hours, well more like a minute, then went back to playing FFXI. But im extremely grateful that i got one, and i think its very unjustified that someone like me, who only really wanted a 360 about a month ago and a half ago (being honest), rung up and got one, while people who put pre-ordered back in July didnt receive theres.

Anyway i wish luck to all people trying to get thier hands on the true next-gen console, and a happy X-Mas :aetsch:
