Strange noise in side

Anyone notice that when you hold the 360 with both hands and give it a little wiggle, that there is a strange spring noice that rattles away inside. Is that on all 360's or just something running loose in mine

Mine has that noise too lets hope its not a issue. its not like a big wiggle it's more like if u tip it one way a bit it makes that springy noise.

I thought perhaps it was some sort of switch so it could recognize if it was sat flat or on its end. At least that is what im hoping.

I don't know. I tend not to shake 400 dollar items as a matter of habit.

me either, not a practice i feel like taking up either. my guess is it is some sort of eqilibrium device that lets the 360 kno which way its sitting

Cool, im glad its normal and I haven't got something loose inside. I thought it might have been a problem which in some sort of insane way made my power supply pack-up. Played for about 2hrs and it decided to go as dead as a door nail. Microsoft said there send me a new one and it will arrive in 2-3 weeks, thats a bloody long time.
