Is there a problem with the forums today as i have noticed it is slower than usual. Is there updates being made or is it just going througth a bad patch?

Theres a whole lot of steps between your computer and the server for this forum, the slow down could be anywhere along the route that a page takes when you request it. Do not assume that slowness is a result of the end of the website you are trying to reach.
