You don't give any info except for you made a video CD and you can't get video and music on your HD.what format is your video and music in would be a good start.

you can't transfer stuff from cd's to the 360 hard drive. you can only stream pics and music from cameras and mp3 players. You can rip music from cd's, and I think that's it.

If you've got a media center pc and wireless network, you can stream video through that.

no, I don't think so? I don't have a usb flash memory drive to test this out, but only music from cd's can be ripped. I'm not sure if this applies to mp3 cd's. Check out the Faq's thread.

The only Video formats I'm aware of that can be played from Disc are DVD's, you can play copied DVD's which is cool but they still have to be in correct DVD formatting ont he disk.

Music and Movies cannot be moved from a USB device to the Hard Drive either, music must be ripped from CD, if you want to put MP3's from your PC onto the 360 then use Nero to create a "Music CD" (there should be a similar option there somewhere), note however that this converts the files from MP3 to CDA files as if they were a normal music CD. This in turn means that you can only get 15-20 songs on the CD at a time. :)

However if you use a USB memory stick or an external USB harddrive then you should be able to stream .wma,MP3's for Audio and WMV, MPEG2, MPEG4 for video. Note, thats STREAMING and not copying to the hard drive.

Hope this has cleared things up. :)

the only cds you can use is the non-rip ones..
microsoft made sure of that!...u would have to get a chip if you want it to work with ripped cds and videos..

ohh yeah abother thing, if my comp and my x360 are connected through an ethernet cable could i go on live using that, and if i can, does the computer have to be on?!?!? or is it just for streaming stuff?

if you have an ipod you can put in an option to use files instead of music. and from what i've heard you could use that as a medium.i'm not 100% on this, but i'd try it

to change it so you can put files on you plug your ipod in and open itunes then right click on the thing that says "so and so's ipod" and go to iPod options, and it's under the iPod tab

If they are connected directly to one another via Ethernet cable then it depends on what version of windows you have. If you have Windows XP (or a few of the later versions of windows) then Internet Connection Sharing can be used to get the XBox360 on live, there are guides on www.xbox.com telling you how to do this.

As I stated earlier you can rip any song onto your 360 from a CD (even if its a CD recorded on a PC) as long as you record it as a specifically formatted music CD rather than just a collection of MP3s.

Windows and other CD recording apps usually convert MP3's to this format and copy them to the CD for you if select an option such as "Music CD" or similar. :)
