How many of you have, or are sending your Xbox 360's in to get fixed at microsoft. I am today or 2morrow. How about u guys?

I know its offtopic but i like your lil sigs with the futre 360 owner and the ati user . Im am as well on both those things . haha

I have had a 360 before so in not a future 360 owner. Im just sending mine in cuz it freezes

my friend sent his off. It was kinda weird. It played games just fine. But randomly one day after playing Halo2 on it his friends list completely disappeared. So he couldn't see us on the dashboard. He did say he would get error messages sometimes (and had since he first got it) and that some days he'd have to boot it up twice to get it started. So sounded like a defective part inside. He got his box and sent it off yesterday and supposedly gets it back in around 6 days

otherwise mines worked flawlessly *knocks on wood*

my brothers did the same thing after a halo 2 game. Now he cant see any of his friends but i can see him. Then when he tries to add a friend it gives him an error message about communicating with xbox live. I figured it was M$'s problem and not the box, keep us updated on how to solve the problem.

Well, don't feal bad. I have the same problem, and from what I've heard, were in for a treat ^_^! Microsofts giving everyone that has to send their system in, a free year of xbox live! I already have 1 year, but time passes fast enough, to warrent a second year.

BTW- Mine also went back today.
FYI-I don't have solid proof to back my free xbox live year claim, but I'm 90+% sure.

Yup... gotta send mine in. I set up for the guy to come pick it up between 6:30-10:00 PM tonight central time zone. So Microsoft will get it tomorrow and hopefully have it back to me by next week :-P.

Ok... well I sent mine in on tuesday night... got to Texas wednesday morning. Anyone know how long it usually takes to get back?

Yea thats what i want to know. Does anyone have any idea. Cuz im suppose to get my box 2morrow (after suppose to be getting one on monday) and ill ship it, they get it on monday, then maybe back by that friday. if im lucky at all. Does anyone know how long it takes? CUZ I WANT MINE BACK BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!

Dang! It took a long time to get to you. I live in Minnesota... quite a ways away from Texas and they sent it on Monday night and I got it Tuesday morning lol. But yeah I want mine b4 christmas too.:santaclau

Yay! I got mine back! Well... actually it's a new one. I had the core but they sent back the premium looking one and then gave me a HD! I already have one but w/e... it'll be extra in case the other gets screwed up or sumthing.

How long did it take for the system to get back to you? And they gave u a preimum when u sent a core?!?!?!

Yea... I got the premium one back. Well just the system and the HD. I might sell the extra HD but i dunno. And um... I sent it tuesday, it got there wednesday and they sent it thursday and I got it friday so all together about 3 days to get it back.
