I literally just got off the phone with gamestop (503-585-0416) and "Grant" told me that they "do not have any in stock" and that he "doesn't know when they will get any more".

The only company that announced a definite second release at all has been best buy on the 18th. Other companies like target, circut city, and costco have been getting small shipments the past couple weeks but with no anouncement. Gamestop and EB games seems like they will never get another BIG shipment in, just 2 every week. :ahhhhh:

I pre-ordered mine from Gamestop last Friday. They received them yesterday and shipped it overnight to me today! =)

I was at Best Buy and an employer who was working in the videogame department told me that this SUNDAY!! The guy acually knew what he was talking about, so I believed him....they even had those HDD's in stock....

They will have Xbox360's in stock.......too bad I'm leaving to my country Saterday......guess, I'll be still waiting, when I come back, pre-ordered early June at EB, Xbox360 paid off a long time ago, and still nothing, not even a call......I feel like I was robbed......anyways what to do......

well now the asses are selling them from the web site. And i still do not under stand why it is going to take so long for stores to get there shipments form there warehouse to the stores. When most games ship, the store get them in the next day.

they told me that there stuff gets shiped to them from taxes, so the closer to taxes the sooner you will get yours. I live in Ohio and they told me around next tues

Here's my story (and first post):

I preordered from the EB Games in Miamisburg, Ohio in July and paid it off before launch. At the time, I was told that I was 'guaranteed' first shipment (I was supposedly somewhere around # 28 on the list). Of course, by the time launch rolled around, they told me not to show up at midnight since they were only getting 20 systems in. Everytime I checked after that, I got the standard "we don't have any and don't know when they are coming, but you are on the second shipment." I last went into the store on Tuesday, December 13 and was told that they still didn't know when they would be there, but that they could arrive any day. Today, I got a call to pick up my premium system. I know how frustrating the wait for a system is. I, too, felt like I was getting the run around. In the end, they really didn't know until the systems arrived in the store. What I can tell you, for me at least, is that the animosity I felt at having to wait melted away when I got the call out of the blue. I even preordered Full Auto from the same store before I left with my 360. Take heart, there really are systems on the way.

im in cleveland, oh so im assuming there are many more eb games stores here to split the shipment between than there are in miamisburg,oh...lol. i was 14 and they got two on monday, so im guessing i still have 11 more people in front of me.

still trying to decide if im going to camp put at best buy this saturday or not. i was just checking the weather and its supposed to be in the upper 20's woth snow showers. that doesnt sound like a fun experience to me. sure wish i was in a warmer state, then id do it in a second!

anyway...good luck to the rest of ya...im still hoping to get that call before saturday...but im pretty sure it aint gonna come, lol.

Morder you have to leave a comment on there feedback page and have a district manager call you for you to get a straight answer. Thats what i did and finally found out that im # 119 but he thinks there on # 50 or something of fulfilled orders wtf how long do i have to wait . Oh well tonight once im done at work ill be at Best Buy with my people selling hamburgers and hotdogs and soda so if we can make some money while we wait . Maybe i can buy another game or something for my 360 when i get one in the am . !

gamestop, what a joke . these clowns do not know what they are doing. i have been calling 2 times a week every since launch, and yet still the same answer , "i don't know". well i tell you what i know , i will never spend another dime in that place. i know it's not all there fault , but they could share what info they do have with there customers, i bet these idiots already have there 360's . i've had mine paid off since the first of august. they told me i was #42 up untill 1 week before launch and then tell me i'm #75, WTF ,probably got all there buddy's 1 at launch ,a**holes.

ya i reserved my system bout 3-5 months ago nd im still number 32 on the list nd they only got 2 systems in the other day, but best buy got 40 2day, but why even wait out near best buy, wen u got campers every were all the time, its bad wen game stop owns eb games, nd EB is getting more in than GS, but im content for now until lat Jan. or Feb. cuz i still got my xbox live for regular xbox nd i just will have 2 keep playing Halo 2

I have had live, since launch, but there has not been a realy fun game since Rainbow Six 3 BA. Halo is good, but with all the cheating and little kids you are forced to play with it gets *** fast.

Ugg. So G4everX called my Gamestop (he lives 1500 miles away) and posed as a fellow Gamestop employee and asked my Gamestop staff when they expected the next shipment. They told him that they expected a few more by the end of last week. On Saturday my wife stopped by to see if it was in- "No ma'am, we will not be getting any more in until after Xmas." Then I stopped by that evening and asked a surprisingly good looking woman staff about my #14 pre-order and she said maybe Tuesday or Wednesday, but definitely before Xmas. *sigh* I hate that place.

why EB? EB and gamestop are in no way associated,(at least that's what the guy in gamestop told me in october '04) their colors are very misleading

Gamestop bought out EB, or EB bought out gamestop not too long ago. Anyway they are the same company NOW.

Hang in there DeadlyWicked - I was sorry to hear you didn't get one over the weekend. I would continue to check Target, Costco, and Walmart over the course of this week. I was told by all of them that they are expecting one more shipment before Xmas. I use the term shipment loosely!! :)

When I was waiting to pay for my 360 at BestBuy Sunday morning the manager told me that this would be the last shipment that they hand out vouchers for. He said they are expecting another shipment the second week of Janauary, which would be placed on the floor and distributed on a first come first serve basis - so keep pinging BB!

Also, when I canceled my preorder at GS they told me that 22 other people had done the same. So with any luck maybe you'l get it sooner than later.
