I just use an older wireless Linksys. Just head to xbox.com they have a list of all routers that are compatible with live and will work right out of the box. They even list the firmware versions that are compatible. So thats your best bet :top:

D-Links routers work great. I had a linksys, but when my bother bought an xbox, and we both where playing, it would kick us off.
Never had one proplem with my d-links.

speaking of D Link anyone have that new one that has the "gamefuel" or whatever they call it? I read a review on it at Teamxbox and it sounded pretty crazy I was thinking of getting one whenever I need to upgrade. But yeah I believe we had problems with more than 1 xbox on the linksys when friends come over. Thats definitely annoying. Never an issue normally since I'm the only one on live but that is a downside at least with the model i have

Linksys WRT54G has never had a problem in my experience. Best Buy rotates the sales on router brands, so just wait and you can probably pick it up for 40 bucks or so.

I'm using a Belkin wireless G router... its an older model since they've updated the design on their generic wireless G router, but i have my xbox connected to it wired since i don't have the wireless adapter (too expensive)
