question of the 18th

Ok either my bestbuy is *** or they dont know i call them everyday and ask if they are getting 360's in the 18th and they say they dont know if there getting them in they could get thme anyday. Are they lieing or what? Is this a gaurentees that betsbuy is reciving thme in the 18th?

No its not a gaurentees but were pretty sure it will be on the 18th(we have some proof!). Maybe where you live, they may not get em this weekend. Id call or go to your local bestbuy friday or early saturday theyll have a better idea. Maybe they just dont wanna tell you. Or maybe bestbuy is ***?........ :laugh:

They aren't going to tell anyone untill they're ready. They aparently will be ready to advertise on friday. Untill then any calls will get the standard "No we dont have any and dont know when we will, try after christmas" upon hearing the words Xbox 360. ;)

well i know i called mine and they said sun they will be selling them again . I think yours is just saying that to keep you away or from camping out . Ill be camping out . there is no question .

hey everyone, i'm new to this forum and I thinks its great that people waiting for the new xbox have a place to vent their concerns and frustrations. I'm in Cleveland, Ohio and I'm curious about the bestbuy Dec. 18 rumor. Does anyone know how it started? I really want to camp out Sat. but I'm afraid i'm going to be set up for a dissapointment. I've never camped out to buy anything at a retailer before and I'm curious if retailers typically give out tickets so people that are waiting early are guaranteed to get what they are waiting for. I normally wouldn't mind campling out but I'm a law student with a big final the next week and I really dont want to waste time not studying based on an unconfirmed rumor. Also, Cleveland weather sucks...Anyway, its nice to join the forum!

NO RUMOR AS AN EMPLOYEE OF BEST BUY I AM TELLING YOU THEY WILL BE THERE. they are on the truck today and are arriving ON SCHEDULE TOMORROW AND GOING ON SALE SUN. we have the list of everything that is on the truck STOP ASKING IF ITS A RUMOR ITS NOT ITS 100% TRUE

Just one question to Cskellor07 . do you ,know when this will be public and pu blished in a ad? is it gonna be in sundays paper or fridays paper. I hope sun to keep alot of people from waiting out side the store from sat/sun .. I hope im the only one waiting so i know i get one. My preorder from gamestop system will be on sale also to anyone who doesnt have one yet. This will start as soon as mine comes in from Gamestop .

i think either sat or sun. but we having been telling people who come in and ask that they are going on sale on sun for a while so a lot of people know about it already

Hmm i wonder how many people will be actually willing to camp out over night for this at my local best buy ? This should be a interesting experiance to say the least. Thanks Cskeller07 for your quick responce.
