View Full Version : Should I get Madden?

Im taking NFS to EB tomorrow and trade it in toward a new game since I hate it. I was looking at Madden since Im a big football fan but from what Ive read in the forums and other sites it seems like a good game but not a great one. Should I get it or go for something else? I dont want to buy another game thats crap like NFS. I already have COD2 and PGR3 and they are great. Thanks for any help guys.

If you are really unsure, I reccomend that you download the Madden 06 demo off LIVE first. If you aren't impressed, don't get the game.

Thanks man, I just went ahead and got PDZ. I downloaded the Madden demo and it wasnt that good, we need a 2K game for the 360. Hopefully the NFL doesnt cheat us gamers forever and let EA become the crappy monopoly they already are becoming. I got $27 at Gamestop for NFS which sucked but its better than nothing.

Ya I did the same thing with the madden demo, it sucks. To bad we wont see anyone other than EA put out a NFL game for a few years.

how do you like PDZ? i got it for christmas but i was totally lost in the story way to crappy first player mode, the online is cool though.

I didnt like the demo either. But i got the game and its alot better than the demo. IMO. but then again i dont play alot of football games so what do i know.

I wasn't too fond of Madden either. I really liked PDZ. COD2 is awesome too.

If you want a stripped down version it's ok,I love madden and I already traded it in for 30.00 at gamecrazy.

I got it about a week or so ago off of eBay and its quite good for what it offers. I dont regret it but I just wish it had more features and wish some of the poeple on LIVE wouldnt run their mouths like they do. Im a grown man but I still dont want to hear some of the things that come out of these peoples mouths and most of the things I dont understand what theyre talking about, Im not from the hood and dont know all the slang street talk crap they say. My brother just got his 360 yesterday so Ill only be playing Madden with him on Live from now on.
