My problem: I have a Projection Big Screen (1080i). I also just got a 32" LCD that does 1080i and 720p. I have a ok quality surround system that is a all in one with the DVD built in. Only has two auxilary inputs however. So I have the projection TV connected to Aux 1 and the computer too Aux 2. So I can only watch DVD's on the projection. That is ok since the Xbox is on the LCD and it can play DVD's on the LCD. My problem is that my stereo surround sound is not connected to the LCD since my lack of outputs on the stereo/DVD player. My question is, will this gadget at this link solve my problem so I can connect everything together?
I actually saw this link in the remote controll forum lol.

hey hippy, if you want to wait months and months for that one go ahead. But really all you need is an A/V Switch you can get one at any Best Buy for 20 bucks. Most are made for Audio and Video, but you only need to run the audio cables from your cp and your xbox into it and then just pick which one your using. You don't necessarily have to get one from Best Buy, they have them at any electronics store.

I would just get a Y-Splitter. I have 4 sets of signals that I had to split because I ran out of inputs\outputs. You just need to think out what you need and go from there. You will probaly need 2 Y-Splitters that have a male on one end and 2 females at the other. Put the males into your stereo and then connect inputs from the devices to the female ends. As long as you are not sending an audio signal from both devices at the same time you should be ok. It should be quick, easy and cheap. You can pick up the splittes at Best Buy, Radio Shack or just about anywhere. If you can not find them just ask a clerk. :bandit:

That sounds perfect. I am going to do exactly that. I dont know why I didnt think of that as a solution. Thank you for the ideas everyone. This sounds really simple. I wish I was better at the input/output thing with all the wires going everywhere. I get confused sitting there trying to figure it all out somtimes.
My other issue was with wanting the Xbox 360 to work on both tv's. The only solution that I have come up with for that is to get another HD composite cable to hook up to my other tv, then all I would have to do is switch is on the back of the xbox instead of moving the tv to switch the wires in the back all the time like I do now.
Well thanks again all.
