ion kno if all walmarts are the same.... but my local walmart putz out new shipments and restock in electronics between 11 pm to 1:00 am...when they put the 360's on shelves they didnt sell until like 10:00 that morning cuz no one ever noticed them/really unaware that any had came in..

unless ur walmart will sell them at a certain given time....go there when they restock items...ya best bet

Just got a confirmation that our local store actually has them in stock, but they can't sell them until after midnight tomorrow because it has to coincide with the marketing flyers. :-(
Do people actually camp out for Midnight releases or do you just go first thing the next morning?

ok just found out the church thing is just some fellowship thing starting at 8:30 and the pastor will say a few words at midnight and WE GAWN!

i'm stopping at walmart to see if i'll have to run to electronics to know how much to exert myself playing catch

I was there Saturday and they said I was #3 on the list when they come in, and they would hold it for me. They called today at 11 a.m. and said it was in, so I went to get it. Its a core system, but I quess I can pick up a hard drive somewhere, and my son really doesnt need a wireless controler. at least I didnt have to wait in line !

I told my cousin about it, but all they had left at his Wal-Mart were four Cores.

we got in there and the dude who passed out #s said they had 26 premium and 18 core. not sure if they had the core on a separate cart, but i saw what i'd believe was 26 premium and saw no core on that cart. i went in for an extra cont 2nite and they were sold out(of 360s and extra wireless conts), but that was 10 mins from closing time, so i dont know how fast they went

you dont play live? if you have halo 2 i would recommend it just for that game it's only $50 a year

I am not really up to date on the new video game systems, so maybe you can help me, is the main difference between the core and the premium the hard drive and the wireless controller ? If I made a mistake buying the core I can return it as I have not opened it yet. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks and have a good day

YA, I just got the xbox360 the other day at wal-mart ( Thoma wisconsin) . I got there about 10 in the morning and they had 3 left ( core ) so i just picked that one up. So I have to go get a hard drive now but its kk.

The hard-drive and wireless controller are the main differences, yes. Unless you are planning on hooking the 360 to the internet and using Xbox LIVE then there is no real need for the Premium version. The Premium has little extras like an ethernet cable, a media remote, a headset amongst other things, but nothing essential. As long as you have a hard-drive or memory card, you haven't made a mistake buying the Core version.

the core will be fine, the only way it would be a mistake would be if you wanted everything and are pinched for money


the difference is

HDD $100
LIVE headset $30(ik think)
and the HD cables and ethernet, but the ethernet is kinda short


so if you dont have HDTV and your 360 is kinda far from your router you will only pay $30 more

I Picked Mine Up At Midnight With Not A Sole There With Me. I Just Walked In And Grabbed A Premium With No Pressure At All. I Called The Next Day And They Still Had A Crap Load Of Them Left. Im Very Happy Now Woohoo
