I found this site www.gamermill.com which sends you an automatic notification within seconds if the 'elusive' xbox 360 is available in stock at most major online stores including Amazon, Bestbuy, Circuitcity, Walmart etc.
You can choose if you want to get the alert on your cellphone or by email.
Usually the 360 disappears minutes after it is posted online so this is a nice way to bag one. Beats waiting in line anyday :)
