so, i called this morning to complain that the jack on my wireless controller was broken.

I got disconnected twice, without a ref number so i had to start over again.

This time I got a nice lady, I explained my problem, and she started going over my options.

1. Ship the faulty controller in, (i pay) and they deem if its broken and send me a new one.

2. The item is missing, and we will send you one.

Now, I of course got ready to jump down the womans throat, Ijust told you I have the controller and its busted.

She slowly said "I am just giving you the options sir...."
In the dim recesses of my mind, I got the hint!!

"My controller is missing" I said.

Good, she said.

We will ship you a new controller out standard delivery.!!!

Wo0T I got a free wireless controller to replace my broken one. The broken one works except for voice.

LOL NICE! i should just call in and tell them that, then get a new controller, too bad i already have 4 so that would be a waste :-(.

Sounds like MS is trying to keep the return rate down, by any means necessary. Weird... if only 4% of sales are defective, why do that?
