Sweet or Sh**?

OK, I dont have it yet but was going to pick it up this weekend. But I need to know if the multi player online is Sweet or Sh**. The online play will make the replay value of this game and I need to know how it is, so let me know what you guys think of the online MP.

I had it for a week or so, now its on eBay. The game has beautiful graphics but is very hard. I think that you have to be a real fan of the game or have played earlier versions for some time to get the hang of this one. It just wasnt my type of game. I got online and played about 10 matches and got my butt kicked every time and I thought I was OK on the single player LOL. If you enjoyed earlier DOA's I would get it, let me warn you though its a very hard game but a good game. Before people start jumping all over me the game just wasnt for me and not to my tastes. Im going to stick to COD and PGR.

Oh and if anyone wants DOA4 for $40+ 5 for shipping, private message me and leave me your email and ill send you the link on eBay but you have to have PayPal to purchase it. Thanks

i have it, and it is awesome, great game, it is tough, but after an hour or so you should get the hang of it, the hardest part is the counter system, i havent mastered it yet, but i know how to string together 10 hit combos....great game...9.5 out of 10

ok, i picked it up this weekend. I like it :) its a great game with a bit of a challange to it. Its not for a button masher tho, if you tend just to smash on buttons to fight your way around games dont buy this.

Well let me just say this i have it and i like it one single player but i dont like it online bc the lag sucks . i mean i havent gotten into one game with out lag . I guess the people i am playing have awsome lag skills bc i have lost every time . I was even demoted to a D on live WTF . Lol .

VERY challenging game. Counters are now required to know rather then just being an extra like in #3. Online sucks, lagged every time i played but i do love how they set up the lobbies, that is cool. Only get it if you have enough self control to almost beat a character, then get killed by a 20 hit combo and lose the match without throwing the controller into the TV.

Hahaha lol, Yeah I tried DOA4 online after beating the game with every character thinking I would kick some ass. Needless to say, I actually won an achievment for loosing 5 straight games in a row. That was the last of DOA4 online for me (considering I rented the game).

.....Other than that, I thought DOA4 had an awesome single player mode. The graphics are the best I've seen from the 360 so far and each character has somewhat of a different story. Definately a buy for me, even after I rented and beat the game I feel there is a lot left to replay value and a must have for your collection.

Oh and the ending credits were sweeeet! I actually felt like it was worth beating the game to watch that (plus it's stored in your HDD so you can watch it again anytime). If that's not enough, Spartan 454 (Halo) unlocks after beating the game, so you really feel like you've accomplished something worth while.

Youll get lag on any game if people have slow connections, but so far ive been amazed at the minimum amount of lag i have encountered in any game (i dont have COD2 yet so feel free to correct me)

I didn't have a problem with my COD2 online at all but Iheard of alot of people having issues with it online.

im gettin it for the mutiplayer with mates and coz its a realli fun game... i played it at a store lol
the only thing i dont like is the hair its a bit dodgy on the females

i bought DOA4 on friday there, and i think it's an amazing game, its very hard, but once you pick up on how to counter properly it becomes a lot less frustrating.
