Private / friend game help

Everytime I host a game for friends only, my friends can not see the race. If I make it public they can. Does anyone have success with this? Can it be done? I have been able to talk / chat with friends so I believe the friend part is set up correctly but I am not beyond making a mistake.

When you say "they can't see the race" I'm guessing you mean that they can't join you.
When you set up a private game on PGR3 it's invite only.
