Will you buy the new datel hd?

Personally I think it looks awesome, but really is pretty pointless... why not buy a normal and smaller flash drive?
Anyways, who here plans to buy it?

HUH? Did they say "expected to be over $100"? 4 Gigs? Wow, what a waist of development. Any old External Hard Drive can be used with the 360 via usb. All you have to do is format the external HDD using Windows XP then plug it into your 360.

Well, I would probably buy it for $15 USD max, just because it looks cool.. or how about $1 per gig? Those cheap bastards.

This is one of the biggest reasons for why people mod systems. You can easily get well over 200gigs for that price. Does anyone know if a regular external usb drive will work with the 360? I mean for media and what not. And if it does, will it work with video files....just curious.

Even for a flash drive with unbeatable transfer speeds, the only thing youcan transfer is pics and songs :(

Pretty much any external USB hard drvie device will work on the 360, if its formatted in FAT32. Then after that you can only store/play music and pictures. You cant play videos off of it.

Another downside is that the USB Wireless adapter wont work on a USB hub so you have to connect it in the front which is ugly! I wish i could have 2 or 3 USB ports on the back of the 360. :mad:

Like someone already said all one would probably use this HDD for, you can stream from your pc, its just rediculous. That said, wonder why M$ didn't offer more space on the HDD to begin with if there are so many manufacturers offering almost 10x the space found on the X360 HDD for the same price.
