Since the launch of the Xbox 360 there has been a few racing game released but they have all been arcade style, eg PGR3, NFS MW and of course Ridge Racer 6 but what about the simulator genre. With all the power of the 360 i'm sure AMAZING physics engines could be created to beat even the ones of Gran turismo and Forza motorsport. What would you prefer to see in the future, more arcade laughs or serious racing on real world circuits?
Personally the more sims the better, I am for sure getting Motop 06 and if Forza 2 comes out that is definetaly on my "list".

I dont really like sims because they are to realistic and incredibly hard to control but also I dont like arcade beacause it is to easy to control I like a game that is right in the middle

It depends really, when you're just messing around, arcade. When you're playing more serious, simulator. I really don't prefer any.

Yeah sometimes a laugh is all you want, so arcade is great, but Forza is the best handling game ive ever played and loev it soo much, just a shame about the visuals which are lacking even by last-gen standards.

I like racing games such as Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition. I love how much customization you can put into the cars in that game!

definatly simulation car games, i hope some developers are making true simulations for the 360... simulations like, GTR, GTL, GPL, GTR2, Richard burns rally, etc etc. updated versions of them for the 360 would be nice... hell even a port of GT LEGENDS would be really nice.

Test drive does look excellent, especially the online capabilities. The game will have one big island, when u sign into live you will be put in ur garage and be able just to drive around and meet other drivers, this is how you will enter races etc. cant wait :D but i cant wait for motogp 06 that looks insanely good :D:D:D

I personally would like a very extensive, very large, (and possibly very expensive) game that would combine pgr3's graphics, nfsmw's cops, nos and customization, forzas real tracks, physics and formula 1 style racing, and burnout's awesome damage. You could choose to either street, rally, or f1 race, you could drive to your event in a different car than you would drive in the race, the game would always be online like a mmorpg, and you would customize your racing character.
I would seriously spend up to 150 on a game like that.
