I haven't tried it yet... but I have an 80GB USB drive (at work) to test it on this weekend. :D

It shouldnt be that hard... but it sucks you can only put music and pics on the hard drive

It works fine i tried it.. the only downfall is if you use the wireless adapter then it has to plug in right into the USB port, you cant use a USB hub. And with only one USB port in the back of the 360 you have to plug in the hard drive to the front, which is ugly.
