Mine was the Atari 5200. The 1st console I bought with my own money was the Sega Genesis (when the price for it dropped to $99.99 back in 1992). What was your guys 1st? console I mean.

Atari, in 1977. TV games had just come out over here in the UK and everbody got the old B&W Pong type games for Xmas. My Dad was a bit of a tehchnophile at the time and bought me the Atari with about 5 games. (Bearing in mind it was £150 for the console alone at the time - or $262 at todays rates) then it was a hell of a lot of money almost 30 years ago. Puts the costs of modern kit into perspective.

Pong that came built in with the system. Controllers were stuck to the system too, but it was nice.

Mine was an atari, dont remember which one I was about 5 or 6. It was bought used at a yard sale by my mom. Played it for years until I got my NES, Duckhunt was awesome.

First one I got was Atari 2600. The first one I purchased for $700 from dropping off news papers was an Adam PC which would let you play Coleco Vision games. The PC sucked so I ended up returning it and getting a Coleco Vision console. I played the hell out of the Popeye game. The PC actually used a casette drive.

After that i got a 64 for my B day and then i was planning on getting a gamecube, then i found out it does't have DVD. then i heard about the xbox and got one of those.

Im an old git, the first console i ever played was a pong one. Yep. pong. My parents bought it in woolworths in walton on the naze and i remember sitting in the caravan with the curtains shut (so we could see the crappy picture on the 14" b&w tv) playing pong all day... the console was bright orange! The first console i ever owned myself was a megadrive or snes, cant remember what order i bought them in, i got them both pretty much at the same time, im pretty sure megadrive was first.

The first Console I owned was an Atari But before that I had a Sinclair Spectrum ZX the first game i ever played was Horrace goes skiing. I loved the loading of Games on there.
