i was just wondering wether it would be capabel of HD thanks.

no because its not hd compatible but it will look better than a regular t.v

I would say to go and get the VGA adapter and use that with the 360.

There can be, depending on the distance of the wire, and if anything can interfere with the signal. DVI uses a digital signal, and VGA uses analog.

Well for starters, depending on what make/model your LCD is, you absolutely can display HD content on it. Hasn't anyone here used Windows MCE with an HDTV tuner or OTA antenna?
In reference to DVI and VGA and which is superior; there is no clear cut answer. There are way to many variables involved and in certain situations, one may be better than the other. In your case; absolutely, without question, use the VGA cable. You will need this in order to unlock certain odd resolutions that I'm sure your LCD is running.
