I am looking for some major gamers like myself, to add to my friends list.
besides Cougar and Turkey, all my other friends either do not yet have a 360, only have 1 or 2 games for 360, or don't play that much. I consider myself a gaming geek (over 10,000 Gamerpoints already), there is no use in hidding it!!
So any other "gaming geeks" out there, send a friend invite. We need to stick together!!:withstupi

Post only if you have over 10,000 GP, for i feel that is the "Geek" part at this point in time. I also think if you have that many already, you really do take pride in your score, so we can help each other out.:listen:

Just because you have over 10,000 GP's doesnt make you any better than the next guy. Some people like to play on Live more than the single player. Plus not everyone can afford a bunch of games.

Wow, man. You are digging way to deep in my words. I do not think i am better than anyone, nor do i hint that!! If you only have one or two games, thats cool, i bet you are really killer at thoes games. I say that i am a gaming geek cuz i really take pride in my score. I know there are people out there that have way more GP than me too. I am saying that if you have that high of a score, you obviously care about your gamer score. That is why i asked for OVER 10,000 GP posters. Thanks for paying attention Jay!!

I know what you mean, i don't get a chance to play much during the week either. I actually sat down and thought about it, and i really only average like 3-4 hours a day on 360, and thats because on days i work, i only get in a casual Hour or hour and half. But off days can eaisily be 8-10 hours. And that is mainly cuz i work mid-shift 7pm - 7am. So that means that when i am awake its like 8 or 9 at night, and my family usually goes to sleep around 11pm. So i am up in the middle of the night with nothing to do but play games. Really kinda sucks, being alone all the time. Thats why i posted this, looking for more gamers to play with.

Well lets see 10,000 points. I wonder how many games you actually own. I know alot of people rent them and get the points only so the points do not mean much. A real gamer would own the game but then again $60 a pop for a game is a bit steep.

"VIDEO GAME GEEK"

Damn CHI...You to?? Why don't you read everything before you post!! Those are the games i own. Notice at the end, i put "Gamefly". That means that i DO rent games alot. To try them out, and see which ones i like, to buy later. While i have them rented, i DO really try to get the achievement points, since i may never play the game again. So once again i say... Please post only if you are a serious gamer looking for other like gamers!!

thanks Jelloslapper, i'll add you:tee: , but is that your gamertag or do you have another one???

I am sorry if anyone gets offended by this post, there are plenty of awesome gamers out there, that just don't want to spend the money on a bunch of games. I am looking for the gamers that really strive for getting as many GP as possible. Anyone can send a friend invite to me if they want, i don't discriminate because you might not have 1,000 GP yet. This Thread was supposed to be for anyone that has OVER 10,000, so we can find each other!!
Or if you just want help in getting your score up there!! I don't bite, just against stupid posts!!

Molneze you may want to check out http://www.www.mygamercard.net it will show you some people that are at or above the 10,000 point mark. Right now there are 76288 total records and your ranks 144. I am just at 6055 but have been replaying NFS:MW and DOA4. I will get up there sooner or later. I thought that gamefly stopped renting out X360 games because they were getting scratched. I wish that XBox would allow people to edit their game list and be able to mark which games they own.

Just finished the 30 year franchise mode on Madden and jumped up to 5231. What a waste of time but it is worth an easy 400 so had to do it.

Some people just don't understand marketing...

Also if gamerpoints aren't programed into the software (Xbox [1] game), they can't just magically appear...

Once a acquaintance of mine said, "Teh awesomeness of teh CELL can make PS2 games look as good as the best PS3 games!!!1" (ok i exaggerated a little). If it's not there - it can't do it.

Wow. I registered to that site and i never knew you could look up the leaderboard, i didn't even know that they had a leaderboard for GS. That is awesome. I am blown away that my rank is 144, i figured there were TONS of people that had a higher one than me, givin 76,288 is a lot of people, but not everyone. Some people just havent registered yet. Thanks for showing me that.
No gamefly still rents out games, i currently have 2 out.

Thanks again Phantom!!

Oh so thats how you got over 10,000 cheater, cheater. LOL man I just got a little offended by this thread, I try to get the most gamerpoints I can without using a walkthrough or strategy guide. Anyone can do that, its just cool to find it on your own. If I did that I would have 15,000 gamerscore by now. I guess then I can start a 15,000 Gamerscore Only thread then. Plus youre not really a gaming geek if you have to use a strategy guide.

ChuckSteak0331

Agree, strategy guides are for younger gamers with no patience. You need to relax and enjoy the game, not blow threw it as fast as you can with the help of a book, or the internet, just to get the points. Those dont prove anything except a lack of job and love ones. Play the game for what it is and enjoy it. This isnt a race.
*real quick edit - Plus when you race through the games, "I'm gonna beat cod2, fnr3, full auto, all by next week!" your going to get bored quick. Right now there isnt that many games out, and if your done with most of them by using walkthroughs and what have you, your gonna be one bored SOB.

Actually if you read one of my other threads, i am Against Stratey guide users to beat games. Look at my gamercard, i already have a bunch of points for Condemned that my wife got. I haven't even played the game yet. I have just heard that to find EVERYTHING in the game, that really, really helps to have. I am going through the game now, WITHOUT The guide!! I probably will go through it again, WITHOUT the guide. I am the type of person that playes a game to find, and do everything in it. Not just beat it once and sell it.

So if anyone is still wondering, I achieved my gamerscore legitly. WITHOUT cracking a guide, Without cheating online, and i have NOT used a second controller ONCE, to cheat to get an achievements. Thats why i said that i take PRIDE in my score. Cuz its all ME...And some help from my wife:wink:
So for all you haters out there:thefinger

What do you guys actually care how MolneZe wants to enjoy his games? If he wants to use a guide go right ahead. I look at guides whenever I get stuck. It took me over 4 hours to do the car export side missions in GTA:SA and that was with a map. I could just imagine if I had to go in and out of cars trying to see which ones to export. I would not have finished that part of the game and yes I did finished the story part of the game.

I like so much how people on this forum beleive that they are right and that there is no other way to do things. And then you wonder why some people do not post on this forum.

If someone wants to use a cheat, hack, short cut, glitch or anything else F it. It does not bother me and if it did, then I would just go onto another server. If you do not like the topic of a thread, then move on there are over 4500 threads.

And Chuck what the hell are you talking about, Spartan finishes those game by next week then he\she can choose Oblivion 3/7, GR:AW 3/7, Burnout Revenge 3/7, College Hoops 3/7, BF2:MC 3/14, Blazzing Angels 3/23 and Far Cry 3/28. Seven games to choose from in 21 days is not bad plus finishing them is one thing, you then get the online play. I can bet people will be far from bored. How long ago did most people finish Halo and Halo2 and they are still playing it.

Why don't you kids move along to the kiddie sections of the forum and let the adults have a conversation.

Hey i'll get bored of the game fast anyway, so i try to beat them so that i don't end up not playing them anymore anyway. That way I at least get through the game.

Gosh, I'm really close to this 10,000 mile point high club. I'm only 9,795 points shy. Maybe I'll make up the difference this weekend with my one game: PDZ.

Or maybe not. Actually, I'd rather not come to think of it.

Sorry, ask me again in 4 years.

i wish achievement points had some other use besides bragging rights

ChuckSteak0331
01-03-2006, 04:25 PM
But even then they arent bragging rights like "I won the Super Bowl" or "I caught Saddam" They are "I stay up and play games" or "I have no outside contact" They should make them so you can trade them in for xbox gear, or face plates.

Phantom
02-03-2006, 08:57 AM
All right, I was going to say NFS:MW but I figured you return it but give me a week. I will start playing PDZ again so I can get use to it and then we will see who is going to school.

Edit - We can go at it on GR:AW, so if I see you online we will get a match going and if we are on the same turn, dont turn your back because I will team kill you.
