XBOX360 Relaunch!!

Well my patience finally paid off!! I decided to wait before I went out to get my 360 until after the initial launch... It seem at first I would be waiting for awhile. But finally my luck paid off!!! My local circuitcity had 360's in stock but was out of the premiums so they put a package together for me instead for $299.99 I got the Core 360, headset, 64 MB memory card, and 1 month Gold Xbox Live Service. After all of that I figure I was still missing the most important piece the Harddrive. So I went to my BX to see if they would have GRAW and a harddrive today. Behold 2 Core systems and 1 Premium system sitting on the shelf in front of me. Now I just rip open the Core system from circuitcity and played PDZ for the first time. But just my luck if I would have been patient for 1 more day I could have got the premium. So I decide to take my chance at EB Games just to see if they had one... The first guy told me know, but luckily the store manager was there and told me he had one left behind the counter....Yes FINALLY a complete system!!! :star: But the one thing that grab my attention was I heard the manager telling another customer that Microsoft is RELAUNCHING the XBOX360 in April. I guess the supply issue will be over soon!!!

April is gonna be like the 10th coming of the xbox 360 but this time for good. Stores are gonna be packed and I see MS upgrading the 20Gb hardrive in the premium for maybe a 40Gb probably in the summer months. Watch stores are gonna be packed and 360 prices on Ebay are gonna plumit like sony's stocks. LOL

There is no relaunch. Stores are just getting restocked. A lot of people who work at EB/GS don't know what they are talking about.
You sure about that price at CC? Because the core system by itself is $299. I doubt they were going to give you the memory card and headset for free.

Yeah I guess they were trying to sell the last batch of 360's they had or it was just a military appreciation day because alot of military was in there getting alot of accessories...

Well take it for what its worth... I got my 360 and everything is working fine....knocking on wood... but its all good!! Now back to some GRAW!!

So Wingman, your friends with EB and GS (which are the same now btw) say that there will be a large restocking? Im just saying that I could care less if there is an official re-launch, I just want there to be a large restock that may put them on the shelves. I have two friends that I want to play with on live and they have plenty of money too buy but they are fringe gamers that are not willing to hunt one down. But if it is just sitting there on the shelf I know they will get one. It drives me nuts that they are in such short supply. I would expect that there has to be a large group of shipments coming soon that will end the drought.

Since when did I say that EB/GS are my friends? I barely shop there and I avoid shopping there as much as possible. I buy my games from my old job. The games are cheaper there (a game that costs $49.99 are $47.99 and the 360 games that cost $59.99 are 57.99) and I get tax off on them.

lol, if my AK studies teacher moves his store to a convenient location i'll start buyin from him, but gamestop is where i get abou 1/3 of my stuff since they have used games(cheaper)

Yeah I know what you mean with the used games. I buy at EB and The used games are only 5-10 dollars cheaper(with my discount card) but that starts to add up after awhile, you can save a lot of money. I also like the fact that I can trade in the crap games ive already beaten and get something I really like.

yeah I got a "relaunch" the week before Christmas, I was on a waiting list and got screw over like everyone else did so I camped infront of bestbuy, but it payed off in the end even becasue I got the last premium

Well round here every store just gets a few every week and now my local Gamestation has no more pre orders left to fill and they have some 360s on the shelf in some nifty bundles such as 360 premimum and GRAW for only £300 (actually saving you money this time instead of what happened at launch)

I don't know if you could consider it a re-launch but MS better get those 360's out ASAP and sale as many as possible while they still have the "Gotta get a 360" demand factor before Nintendo and Sony's launch hype takes place this November.
