How are the load times???

I heard that the game loads every few seconds while roaming outside in the forest,etc..is this true? and if so, how annoying is it?? thanks..:vollkomme

yea its true but its not annoying at all it loads for a few sec thats all

IT's not that big of a distraction. Sometimes things will pop in, but still, nothing major. MY Oblivion froze up on me just now. THis is the first time my 360 locked up on me. I just restarted and it's fine now.

It's hardly noticeable.......it says like "loading area", but it loads in less than a second.......

Depends, when wandering outside, it is close to instantaneous. If you are going into a building ~5 seconds.

When walking you many times see under in the screen the message loading... - but you keep on playing, so its kinda stupid actually, because almost every game is loading all the times.

well depending on how fast you are moving you may or may not realy notice the loading, if ur runing it gets just a little choppy, if ur just walking through the load theres no diference, its much better than morrowing where you had to wait for the area to load.

yeah mine froze today too, i was getting ready to cross that huge awsome looking bridge once you get out of the sewers and it just locked up, i restarted it and it played fine the rest of the time, probablly just a lot to handle, hopefully it doesnt become a serious problem

anyone playing with just a mem card instead of a hdd?? hows the loading time on it?

Yeah loads aren't horrible like others have said...but it is a little choppy. And as others have said mine froze up as well.....first time for my box other than the day of the march update. First in game freeze though.....perhaps they will address. Great game in any case....I can't quit playing this game.

oblivion froze on me loading a game, first time my xbox has frozen

mine has frozen on other games like CoD2(at the end of a veteran level, very annoying) and PGR3 back before the update but Oblivion hasnt frozen it at all yet. The load times are fine for me, like said above larger areas load alittle slower but always less then 10.

The loading is often, although I don't find it too detrimental to the game.
