Ok so here it is, i want to share my pc internet with my 360 so i bought a crossover cable. My pc internet is wireless to the router in the livingroom. I have the crossover cable plugged into both my pc and my 360. Where do i go from there?

Next you would want to enable Internet Connection Sharing on your PC. What version of Windows are you running?
If it's WinXP, use this guide to setup ICS:
