Friends make or break games

How many of you let your friends influence your game choices? such as GRAW, BF2? if you prefer one but your friends prefer the other. makes it tough to play online.

Well I"m the only one who has a 360, so if my friends or brothers dont like the games I buy than they just have 2 options get their own 360 or suck it up an play my games .........but they have never complain about the games a I get.....

I don't trust my friends for one good reason "Oh man u have to buy PDZ it's awesome!" Now I have a game I don't play and 50$ down the drain. :banghead:

I just buy every game i can, as long as it looks good, or got good reviews. And is in my interest. That way, when friends or family is over, they have a bunch of choices. Plus, that is more games for me to play when no one is over.

Currently have 16 games, plus about 7 in the arcade.

Yeah I buy the games that I want. I am usually the one telling my friends what games are good. I influenced about ten of my friends to get Halo 2 and XBL and they did and now they play it every night.

Ok I should rephrase=) I buy what I want its just that if I don't have any of my friends to play it with online...such as the bf2 for og xbx... it tends to collect dust and I'll just end up playing other games with my friends.

Especially considering most of them only play FPS. I prefer many types of games. :wink:

i dont let my friends tell me what games to get, but I love playing multiplayer and for some games like far cry its hard to get a GOOD multiplayer game going unless i have friends with the same game

this is where I was trying to take this:idea: I buy what I want but if I don't have a good group of guys to play it with it usually ends up on the shelf. I usually only play with a few guys.

I kinda figured that's what you were looking for.:embarasse I feel the same way, as I'm one of the only one's in my group of "gaming friends" that has a 360. So besides games that are B/C like Halo 2, I don't have any games that I can play over live with them until they each get a 360.:eek:

yeah its no fun playing with the screaming, music blaring, profanity every word out of their mouth kids(yes that includes people over 18) they piss me off. so I prefer to have at least a couple core guys to play with that makes it fun and if nothing else we can talk while we kill the annoying bastardos
