Has your xbox360 frozen?

Just wondering if anyone has had an xbox360 that hasn't frozen?

my console has frozen about 6 times on random occasions (with no error or red lights), i've heard that the march update has made alot of consoles freeze, so i'm hoping that an april update will fix it?

anyway, simple poll, has your xbox360 ever frozen?

Yup my 360 has frozen twice so far. It's only frozen since I got Oblivion. I think there's something wrong with the oblivion discs, that make your 360 freeze.

And no I don't have the march update.

Yupp, mine started freezing. After that she froze after every 5 mins, and after that, she died.

Mine froze once so far(knock on wood) while I was playing GRAW. It froze in between levels but other than that I have been pretty lucky(knock on wood again)

mine has only eva frozen in PDZ wen i clicked the middle button on the controller like 4 times before the bar went accross becaouse i was in a rush...
besides that nothin.. i leave it on about 5 hours everyda for the last 4 days and its neva frozen or played up... it was made on feb 2

The majority of freezing problems are related to the disc. The 12X DVD drive spins the disc so fast that the discs have to be PERFECTLY balanced. Sometimes in mass production you get some discs that work better than others. My 360 has never froze.

mine froze twice in pdz 4 times in DOA4 and alot of times in GRAW (but that happens to everyone cuz of lag)

my 360 froze with the first game while loading halo 2, I just got it last night, then I just turned it off and now I'm playing graw with no problem at all

Mine froze once when jumping the old bridge in NFS: MW when the chase was over, I would have beat the game if it didn't freeze then I had to do the stupid police chase all over again! Other than that my console has been perfect!!! (Knock on wood)

My Xbox has frozen about 3 times and it stays on but the 1st time it turned off with red lights.... Ok to All, this is due to overheating. my Xbox is in a shelf like a VCR, a bad spot I must say but its the only place I can fit it. I have a usb fan on it and it has yet to fail me. but the other night I had the fan off and after 5 mins of Xbox live GRAW it freezes. My fan is what keeps my Xbox alive. Oh and if your box freezes turn it off and let it cool down dont just put it back on, it will die

When i first purchased mine it froze alot during call of duty, it was so bad it got to the point where i could no longer play and had to get a replacement from microsoft. So far the new one has only done it once and i have had it for over a month.

I got it to happen in Oblivion using the duplication cheat. (Rotten lockpicks) Anyway, what's funny is that I never had a problem after the March update!

Mine freezes around every 2 hours in oblivion (which gets kinda annoying when you've racked up around a hundred hours) froze a few times in Kong too. Other than that it's been perfect, not a single freeze in any other game.

On a related note, does anyone know when the oblivion patch is coming out, hopefully that should sort the problem - it really does detract from the game when you have to save every five minutes or whenever you get a good item because you're worried it's going to crash and you'll have to start over...

My Xbox 360 has frozen several times playing COD 2 without the red light coming on. Usually, it was related to a dirty disc and after cleaning it the problem was resolved.

I have had my 360 freeze only once. I think I was doing something in the Dashboard when it did it. Hopefully it will not become a habit.

OMG, i think i have fixed my freezing problems!!!!

i put the original a/v cable on, then set it to 480i, normal, @ 60hz, played around in GR:AW and it didnt freeze at all. then played some pgr3 with the headset for about 1/2 hour, and didn't freeze at all....

so i then plugged my vga cable back in, and set it to 1024x768, normal. and i just played about 2 hours of GR:AW and 1 hour of pgr3, online with headset, and hasn't frozen at all, which is amazing because PGR3 always freezes randomly within an hour.

HOPEFULLY this has cured my 360, and will keep you guys posted on if it is still freezing or not

and yes my vga cable was tightly plugged in the first place.

I personally think its the disc.. I NBA Live 06 and it freezes up when im about 10 minutes into the game.. but than my Amped 3 i can play for hours no problem.. i even went and exchange the NBA Live for another one and it still does it...

Mine froze for the first time with the 3 red blinking light when i was playing Call of Duty online. It did it a few times, then it stoped and i played for about an hour and a half with no problems. I really think its about to die. Is there anyway to fix it? What microsofts number? Do you lose all your game data and achievments if you send it in? I need help!

I've had my 360 for about 24 hours, no freezing yet. And, hopefully, no freezing ever.

I've got an extented warranty, though, hopefully it'll never get used.

mine has never frozen in a game or in the dashboard, but the only problem that I have had with it are these shadow like graphics that show up in some halo 2 levels

o yea and my screen lags like a ***** when a camo guy runs across my screen on backwash :)
