Skingrad House

I bought the house in Skingrad and while looking around, I decided to jump on top of this giant wooden box-like structure in the bedroom. On top is an "Old Dusty Note" I read it, forgot what it said but it wont let me read it again. Pressing "A" does nothing. No, it's not a problem with my "A" button. If anyone else could tell me what the riddle in it was, that would be appreciated.

why not try dropping it from tour inventory so you can pick it up and read it again?

it wont let you drop it cause it is a quest item, i dont remember what it says excatly but it has to do with a hidden item in the house. you just have to find it. all you have to do is go into the basement and find the post that has cloves of garlic hanging from around it, jump and you will see a bag with an hourglass in it on top of one of the beams that come off from the post grab it and you will get a prize and finish the quest
