I've added a poll Agent X, hope you don't mind. It just means people can easily see what peole are gong for :)
Anyway I'll be getting the Premium package at launch. As Exxo has mentioned in other threads to get the most out of your 360 and to be able to play Xbox games, download my music etc I need a HDD, which is only available in the premium option. Also I'll be on Live from launch so I need the headset as the core package doesn't offer it and the current Xbox headset won't work/isn't compatable with the 360.

Although I wont have online for a long time i'm getting the premium. Metalic finish, harddrive, wireless controller and remote.
Besides it's only and extra 70 pound so why not.

i am getting the premium. Why?
1. The 20gb hard drive is 99.99 so there is 400 anyways.
2. Need a new headset.
3. The media remote.
These three items add together to be what... around $150.
CHOOSE WISELY!

Do you think MS actually expects anyone to buy the CORE edition?
Most probably it's just so they attract customers saying the system only costs $300... but then when they realise the CORE package sux0rs, it's only $100 more to get way more/better accessories.
Nintendo and Sony will do they same.

I am going with thr premium version as if bought core i would buy all the accessories later any way, so cheaper to buy it in the package when it debuts . Plus only the premium package will ship with the remote till the end of the year after that it will not be included in the premium package.
premium version as soon as they release them with HD-DVD drives

I'm going for the Premium version. Lots of stuff for the extra $100. One thing I don't really like is the silver strip where the DvD/CD ejecter is (Core System doesn't have it).

Actual we have a tax in the UK so the US end up getting it cheaper :hmpf:
because $399 converts to only around £225. So taxes boost it up to £280

Definately going to pre order the premium package...i dont see the point of the "core" package unless you're:
A: A kid who cant afford the premium package, or whos parents are buying it & dont want to spend too much on another new console
B:Tight with your hard earned cash!
Come on,you know im right! ;)

Hey now I already got one paid for but, it's still nice that if ya dont want the 400 box ya still have a choice. Plus ya gotta figure some people dont mod dont play but on the weekends and they might just have to have all 3 of the new systems. So its not like ya can't get it later. Myself I can't wait but Im sure 100 bucks might mean the diffrence of 2 games on launch day ta someone. Cuz in the end its always about the games....

I'm getting the Premium System because a lot of the stuff that comes with it is necessary, and if you were to buy all that stuff separately it would cost way more than $400 so I think it's a great deal. I don't think to many people will be buying the Core System because you can barely do anything with it, Microsoft should add a few more things to that package.
