Well, I ordered it last night and havent stopped playing the demo!

I give it 8/10. The graphics are great, controls are kind of funny. And I didn't liek the way you had to be an engineer, special ops, etc. But everything else is great!

I'm wondering. Is the EA servers as screwed up as the EA demo servers?

The servers are great, I think I had like one hiccup but it was not even a sec and then it was smooth again. I'd give the game 8.5. Why you ask? Well I love the gameplay and how everything controls. My only issue is the shadows, sometimes look great, other times they jump around. But nothing to take away from the gameplay. Some people will complain about the graphics, and those are people that wont buy a Rev, like I was saying some will complain about the graphics but its gameplay and replayability that is important. At least to me. The graphics are just a plus. The biggest downfall is playing with people who are younger... A LOT younger. Nothing against them, but they just sit there and scream. I found a server where my team was 24 and up, me being the youngest at 24 and the oldest guy in his late 40's. Great group. I think when you find the right group and every one is communicating you cant beat it. Great change from the usual.

I noticed the shadows. They look terrible. But other than that, online has been great.

i dont really care for it. just not for me i rate it a 7. you never know though it could grow on me we will have to see.

Agreed, I did one thing in the title of farcry, and it wasnt far...hehe. Anyways, I havent had an issue yet with the connecting and I've been playing it a lot on and off.

Yes... i couldnt connect today for no apparent reason. Damnit. Also, anyone know how to get medals that you have already earned, but lost the mission? there doesnt seem to be a way to re earn medals.

i LOVE the game. Yes much better then far cry. Far cry would be better if more people played and it didnt take 3 clips to kill someone in the game! This game is awesome, i LOVE being in the tank!!

I really like the missions. I like the focus on each type of soldier. The last one i played was the sniper mission. it was sick. i also like the fact that you can control the other soldiers in your squad. You just have to get over that whole zooming out of your body and into their thing. Its cool graphics wise but really takes you out of the action.

First FPS that i actually like the campaign more than online. Anyone know if we'll ever get to play coop on this?

i played it once and i couldnt find anyone on the map....i personally think the game is lame and is no where close to COD2...i think the game is a very generous 4....i bought it the day it came out but i regret it i have played it once...the single player mode is alright though...but still a 4

I REALLY wish they would fix the problem with headsets not working. I love the game, but can only talk to maybe three or four teammates on a really good day.

This is a problem is noted by EA, and they have a workaround of disconnecting from Xbox live and logging back in, but not everyone does this, so you can't communicate with people who don't use the workaround. I've found playing with one other friend and using private chat is a bit more effective.

Now a positive. You fire 50 cal rounds into a wall, you see the holes in the wall and the shell casings on the ground for the rest of the game. The only things that go away are blown up vehicles, as it would hinder your ability to get around. But the destroyed vehicles stay on the battlefield for a long time before blowing up into nothing. These constant effects add a lot of desire for me.
