I just finished my career. I was suprised it ended like that actually. My question is, does your career end after five years. Near the end of the fifth year I got my No. 1 Ranking, (I had already won at wimbledon and the US Open and a bunch of other tourneys) and soon after in november i think it offered me either tokyo or a celebration of my career tournement. I thought it sounded cool so I did it. After that it had me play my rival. When I beat him my career ended. Could I have gone to Tokyo instead and continued for more years. I came up a little short on the finish your career with 1,000 points acheivement. So that sucked too.
Im kinda bummed out its over lol.

Hey, a little off topic, but how do you like the game? Was it worth the money or not? Im a little hesitant to purchase it but I really want to play it. Plus I cant rent around here.

I love it. The price helps me love it and not just really like it though. It is a little shallow. It has a steep learning curve. You think you are not going to ever get it right but once you build up your skills you cant be stopped. There is no presentation really. They left out all the frills. But as far as tight tennis action I think it is nearly perfect (except for the tough starting difficulty). I play the hell out of it these days though. Online is fun. You can play people and there isnt really much lag so far for me. Runs pretty smooth. And for the $39.99 is it worth it to me.

If i can add my 2 cents....I also think it is a great game. Especially for $40!! Very fun and it makes you want to keep going through the Career. Online is cool too, but my character isn't that built up yet, so i can't quite compete.

You guys feel free to add me to your friends list. We can play sometime. I didnt do very good on the training the first time around so I think I could have built up my player more. Im not sure if it just lets you build up 60 stars and you have to spread them out or if I could have gotten more then that if I was better at the practices.
The game needs an open practice court though so you can practice your different types of shots.
Also, do you ever use the right trigger shots Molneze? They are tough to hit perfect in the middle of the match and I pretty much ignore the right trigger.
My Gamertag again is psuedohippyz. Notice I spelt psuedo wrong so dont mix that up if you search for me.

No, i don't use the trigger shots much, cuz usually they result in a lost point. you need to have quick timing/reactions, and be good at the meter thingy. I seem to do fine without them.

Once you earn your left trigger shots and have the momentum to use them they are invaluable. I use the left trigger shots alot for that winning point. Problem is it takes you a while to earn them.
