Not hearing friends in head set

I've had problem with not being able to hear my friends in my head set "sometimes". Its happened to a couple of my friends as well.

Have you had this issue? is there anything I should know or check?:stupido3:

Let us know about the email response. I too have experienced this a couple of times, and tried everything short of shutting off the whole system. Hopefully they will respond with the news of a patch... Riiiiiiiiight.

In just the 3 online matches i played last night, I or one of my friends in the room experienced the same problem. Once case was one of my friends couldn't hear the other, and vice versa. But i could hear both and had to talk for each of them. It was really annoying.

its the mic the 360s mic that comes with it really suxs . my friend bought a new one from best buy its a really small one that fits around your ear rocks its like talking on the phone with him

most likely the headset, which is craptacular. It happens to me all the time. I have to plug-then-unplug-then-plug the damn thing until it works. If I use the old Xbox headset, or a regular cell phone headset . . . no problems.

i have had the same problem with two headsets now can hear everyone but they can't hear me am about to buy a third head set but enough is enough i have emailed microsoft/xbox 360 and am awaiting there reply not good enough i think

its not the head sets its EA....on there site they say to

1. delete bf2 mc demo

2. log in and out of your xbox account

3. there working on a patch

If your only concerned about hearing your friends you can alway do a private chat. You will not be able to hear anyone that's not in your chat, but that way you can talk to your friends the whole time, even while your dead.

I know this is an older post, but anyone heard if EA is still working on a patch for this problem? It's starting to feel like they made their buck and are done with the title.
