hey all
i have got a problem with my headset. Starting from today my microphone doesnt work. I can hear people but they cant hear me and i tried recording messages n playing it back but cant hear nething. The headphone works properly, i can hear everything what people are saying.
i messed around with the settings (and no it is not on mute) but just cant get the bugger to work
neone experienced this problem?

Nope. I would guess that your Mic doesn't work.

No, My controller does that to, it is a loose connection in the controller. It's not the headset.

i have a prob..i stepped on it and it came apart :( have 2 buy a new 1 lol theres not much to them inside

call MS and maybe they are still wanting you to not send it in.someone here said they called and the person said "if there was no controller with your system we can just send you a new one" meaning "if you have a brain you'll catch the hint and tell us you didn't get one"

I ahve the smae problem with both of mine. It is the headphone, all 4 of my controllers act the same. I ohoned customer support and they said warranty is only for one month after purchase, so lie and say you bought it like two weeks ago or something. Crappy headphones.

WAIT nothing is wrong with your controller, I had the same problem with halo 2 this week, all you have to do its open the battery pack from your wireless controller, so all power is cut off from it, and then once you click it back in and turn on your controller it *SHOULD* work fine
Though the Xbox 360 Controller is an amazing piece of hardware, pretty solid, seems to me that the headset could have been better. It's a little flimsy IMO.

yea hi had the same problem bought a new one same thing happened again so rather than buy another new one i phoned the 360 helpline explained that this had happened twice and they are sending me a new headset will be here in a week all they want is the old one back.phone number is 0800 5871102
