I read thsi interview where someoen said that the reason that Goldeneye from teh 64 wasnt comign to xbox live was because of its size. Now I'm just wondering if Microsoft would need Nintendo's permission to bring the game over. I mean it was published by Nintendo, but made by Rare. And Now EA owns the rights to video game bond so if anyoen knows how this legal stuff works coudl you clear it up for me

im almost positive that microsoft only need rare's permission as they where the developers of the game and the rights to the game would be theirs. nintendo was only the publisher.
altho my views on this are loosely based on authors and authors have the legal rights to their books not the publisher.

They would also need EA's permission and pay royalties to republish it since they now have the rights to 007. Since Microsoft would be selling the game over LIVE.

In short, there's a 0.1% probability of Goldeneye appearing on XBLA.
