I am a FPS PC gamer (Call of Duty, Half Life,...). I am thinking of buying an xBox 360 instead of upgrading/changing my computer. I'd like to know if it will be possible to play of keyboard/mouse (no controllers can beat a keyboard/mouse for FPS games)????????

I don't think MS has said anything on keyboards and mice, and since all 3rd party accessories need to have MS authority the choice is up to them.

I'm sure there will be, the first Xbox has USB hookups so you can play with a keyboard and mouse and the Xbox 360 will be no different, just don't ecpect a launch day hookup.

I did here the MS wouldn't allow third party controllers for the xbox 360 till like Q2 of 2006, but hey, whats that from preventing you to plug in a logitech usb keyboard, there are usb ports on the 360 out the yin yang :ridinghor

If you buy a game console, you play with that controller... I play with computer if I want to use mouse and keyboard :P

Since there is already a third party adaptor that allows you to use a keyboard and mouse on the Xbox from a company called SmartJoy, I can't see why something like this won't appear in the near future on the 360.

Personally I prefer a Controller over a keyboard and a mouse but I think it is possible that Microsoft may release a Keyboard/Mouse for the 360 somewhere down the line.

I think M$ wants to distance the 360 from PC games as far as it can.

But then again, M$ may be trying to attract PC gamers who don't want to buy a brand new computer.
