FPS on 360.

Is it just me or are some of you also getting sick of nothing but FPS on the xbox 360. its like thats all they can make for it. they need to make more games like tomb raider and they really need to push out more RPG's.

Your right, I agree. We could use some more racing games like Project Gotham but we have that coming with Test Drive Unlimited. I am not an RPG fan but we do need more choice

So 6 of 39 (6 FPS out of 39 games) constitutes to "nothing but FPS on the xbox 360"??? What are you talking about, so far there are tons of other games. And i don't know where you have been, but i remember reading a recent report in a gaming mag (either Game Informer, or Game Pro), the the FPS catagory was the highest played gaming catagory out. So it makes sense to produce more of those games for fan appeal right??? Wouldn't it make sense that they'd loose money if they made, i don't know, 3 or 4 Barbie Dollhouse Adventure, games???

My point is that marketing a major campaign like this is all about pleasing the most people to bring in the most MONEY. They don't care about us as an individual, but as an entire gaming community.

even though fps are my favorite i think its time to make a wide variety of games. i dont want to buy another fps till halo 3.

i dont think i said anything about barbie games but ok. i currently own 5 games...4 of which are FPS. the only one thats not is FNR3. i offer more types of games, you know like strategy, maybe some adventure and more than one RPG. maybe you think of barbie because you want that game, and maybe its the highest played catagory because the market is flooded with too many of them. on xbox the only FPS's i played where Halo1/2, red faction, black and Doom 3. with this xbox 360 i already have played more then that (condemned, quake 4, GRAW, Farcry, Oblivion, and COD 2) im not saying these are bad games im saying they should offer more variety then FP games.

6)pgr3
7)amped 3
8)nba 2k6

ad i have a freakin blast on all of them, i love my fps and i love the games we have out....dont like fps?... get urself fight night, kameo, oblivion, pgr3, ad most wanted, and ur set to go

Dude...First of all, i was joking with the whole barbie thing.
Second, thats your problem for buying 5 games in which 4 are FPS!! Don't buy them if you are going to get sick of them then b*tch about it, comon sense, come on.

And lastly, Condemned and Oblivion are not FPS. Close, and in some cases you might do a little first person shooting, but that isn't the class of the games.
