i have the xbox 360 that does not have the online hook up. They say you can not play any games from the original xbox on it. any truth to that. Because my buddy says you can still play halo 2 on it. any help?

Its true, you have to be hooked to Live to be able to download the emulators to be able to play original xbox games. If you have a high speed connection you can hook your 360 to it and use the free Live Silver account to download the emulators, just put the game in you want to play and it will automatically install the emulator required to play the game. Not all original xbox games can be played on the 360 yet because there havent been any emulators released for them. If you dont have high speed you can go to xbox.com and download the emulators to a disk and upload them to your 360 that way. This link might help, good luck.
