The Lakers have notified the league offices that Kobe Bryant will switch his # from #8 to #24 effective next season. I guess he's really trying to be like Mike but not make it too obvious (what I mean by that is he's taking #24 instead of #23).:dontknow:

LeBron wears #23. Wearing a number doesn't make you like anybody. Maybe's he switching because he's not the same Kobe anymore that he was when he first came into the NBA. Maybe he likes #24. Maybe his wife made him change numbers. Who knows.
He is switching his number to 24 because 1. he whore it in High school and 2. because he is trying to change the way people see him. i for one dont care but now it means i have to buy another Kobe jearsey, im probably going to get a real authentic one too. OH BTW...HOW BOUT THEM LAKERS!!

Yea you are right, i dont see why he would want people to see him deifferently because he is the best player in the NBA and he has a killer instinct to kill the other teams. people hate him, and this season atlease he wants that hate and then he is going to scorch your team. say what you want about Kobe this season, in the playoff's its THE LAKERS not just the kobe show and thats why they are basically dominating the sun right now.

Actually #24 is one of the numbers he wore in high school. #33 was the other one he wore in high school but he can't wear that one since it's retired. He wore #8 because it was the number of his favorite player in the Italian league. Which I think is one of the coaches at Phoenix.
