i know its not new news

Xbox 360 executive Peter Moore says that it won't just be the demo of Capcom's Lost Planet that Xbox Live users get to try out while we're over in the States - Microsoft plans to make several of the E3 demos available during the show.

In an interview on the console's official website, Moore said, "Xbox Live members should be able to play many of the demos that even the celebrities will be testing out at E3." Excellent news for those of you who can't be bothered to kick Elijah Wood out of the way all the time.

"It is our goal to bring E3 home to Xbox Live members as best we can, all the videos and the news as quickly as possible," he told Xbox.com. "We will give you the flavour of what's going on, on the show floor and some of the stuff that we are showing and debuting here."

The Xbox.com pre-E3 interview page also suggests that Crackdown, Gears of War, Too Human, Mass Effect, Viva Piņata, Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey will make some sort of appearance at the show - good news indeed - and implied that Xbox Live Arcade will also see announcements.

"We also need to look at Xbox Live Arcade as an incredible example of a non-intimidating way to break your way back into videogames," he said.

Expect to hear much more from Microsoft at E3.

Salgado, E3 is Electronic Entertainment Expo. It is thee place to be for all salient gaming information. E3 last year restarted the console wars when the big 3 console making companies made announcements on the next platforms being launched (360, PS3 and Rev.). Then Sony saturated the show with eye-popping pre-rendered footages all the while passing them off as "real time", until it was proven otherwise sometime after E3.

Anyway, expect lots of info to come out during May.

I'll see it to believe it with these demo promises. So far with their previous promises....well....they havent been kept well.

I hope they release a Crackdown demo, anyone else waiting for that game? It looks kool! And maybe we can see the Saints Row demo soon too. Awsome feature by MS too.

I had interest in Crackdown before OXM had all those preview videos and preview article about it. I was then just interested very little - it just didnt look appealing no longer.

I agree, it looks like more pushing the "filler" titles until this fall.
