Does anybody know the rules for calculating scoring on the Co-op for Kameo? Me and my buddy got the XBL download, and not having to use split screen is great, but we're not sure how they combine out two scores -- they don't seem to be simply added together.
I ask because I'm not sure whether or not its better for us to split the multipliers (brutal/carnage/frenzy) equally, or whether one of us should stock up and the other act as a bodyguard.

Well, I was playing Kameo last night with a guy from Mexico and he said tha he only has to kill the trolls. I don't do anything. He kills everything. That's how we got alo of Focus Modes, Brutals, Frenzies. Oh and welcome to our Planet. This is also used for getting rank A's.

Yeah, killing the trolls will get you the multipliers (as will killing dragons, subs, boats, flying blimps, or anything else for that matter), and I agree thats the path to a co-op "A" ranking (I finally got all my "A" ranking solo Achievements), but did the dude (or dudette) from our southern neighbor know how your and his score were combined?
Heres what I mean -- You rack up a good solid bank of multipliers. At the top of your screen is the 3 multipliers, the "big" score, then the "small" score underneath it. The big score is your actual score for the level -- the small score is your "temporary" score . . . the score you've accumulated so far in that particular sub-section. When you finish the sus-section, the small score gets added to your big score.
*btw, if you already know all this, I don't mean to retread old territory*
anyway, when you finish a sub-section, your score is straight added to your total score: you have 100,000 total points, and your sub-score is 25,000, then at the begining of the next level your total score will be 125,000 points.
Now, in co-op, you and your partner will always have the same total score. At the end of each sub-section, your total scores will always be equal. HOWEVER, your sub-scores for each subsection get added up in real time, so your personal multipliers will be different than your partners, and your sub-score will therefore be correspondently different. Assuming at the end of a sub-section, you and your partner have 100,000 total points. You have a fat bank of multipliers, so your sub-score is, say, 50,000. I, on the other hand, sucked ass, so my multipliers are squat, spit, and poo, so my sub score is 750 points. When we begin the next sub-section, and are total scores are reset, our new scores will be . . . what? 150,750 was my first assumption, but thats not what you end up with in the above scenario.
The reason I'm going on about this is the stragety changes drastically depending on the answer. If its a straight "my-and-your-scores-added-together," then the best thing to do would have one player max out on the multipliers, and the other player acts as a shield. Ten bajillion plus zero is . . . pretty damn good If the game factors in the fact that I played poorly, and averages/reduces/divides your high score by mine, then the best plan is to split the multipliers as equally as possible. What Spirits I use when I fight, how I'm gonna creatively kill those stoopid trolls (eat them? Throw them off a cliff? Rip them limb from limb? impale on a wall of spikes, then set him on fire? good times), everything changes depending on what multiplier total I'm shooting for.
Sorry to ramble -- Live is down until 11, so I'm enjoying the sweet Internet. And thanks for the welcome (I assume you mean to the website). I've been enjoying it for a while -- a very informative site, and a suprisingly impressive "Apparently Nice People vs. Flaming Jackholes" ratio.

That's right. It should've tooken you about a good 10-15 min to right that down. I get brutals from trolls by using Chilla to grab them that use the ice spike to hurl them into a wall. I take about 3-4 trolls at a time. I take out fire trolls by(another way without using Deep Blue) is to use Flex and use is Shot to grab it then use SuperShock, Its not a brutal but its fun to watch them(any monster can work on this) Shake in your tentacles an then hurl them off the cliff! Also, I'm one of those the Apparently Nice People getting jacked up by the Flaming Jackhols. You know, Flaming Jackholes sounds like a good football team name. Doesn't it?(This is the longest post I ever wrote)

That news about using Flex is new to me . . doesn't he catch on fire when you grab those little red s.o.b.s?
Another good technique for rapid multipliers is to use Snare -- grab the trolls then spit them into spikes/over the edge. When you use Chilla's spear technique, you're limited to 3 trolls on your back, so you get 3 brutal, 3 carnage, and 2 frenzy. With Snare, you can toss 7-8 before your spirit dies, so you can get alot more frenzies.

Once I got 4 on my back then I shook them a little then I threw them. I'll try Snare next time. I only used Snare once in Co-op play. Did you download the Co-op pack from the XLM? If so, tell me.
