I had an xbox live 2-month trail, and i want to continue it. If i pay for the year subscription, first will it switch over to the xbox 360, and second will it be considered a gold membership?

on xbox 360 how is going to cost a year for gold

its gonna cost $50 a year, but i guess according to the answer to my question, you are gold if you have live now.
