Stuck on the Great Heist Mission

I have done everything I needed to do up to this point, I have even checked the handbook for clues. Yet I can't seem to open the iron gate that you have to access using Skipjack's boots. There are two buttons on either sides of the balcony that you can hit to open the the gate and I have pushed them both several times, the Weyland stones that guard the gate work just fine....:afraid: but the iron gate refuses to budge. Does anybody know if there is a glitch in the game or am I just doing something wrong?

When you push ano of the buttons, a door will open. Go down all the way down, and push the 3rd button.
