After Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft showcased their big guns at their respective conferences...who do you think is walking away from E3 with the advantage?

All the conferences were good.

Sony showed a ton of CG videos, Nintendo spent the whole conference trying to explain the uses of the controller (I'm still confused about zelda) and Microsoft showed a bunch of games, alot of future accessories and future functions. I would say hands down I enjoyed the microsoft conference with nintendo coming in second.

Nintendo coming in second... now that's just your hatred for Sony clouding your vision.

Both Microsoft's & Sony's conferences were very good IMHO. :top: I thought The Big N's conference was decent, but nothing like the Nintendo of old. I really wasn't very impressed... I guess I was expecting more from Nintendo.:dontknow: The games definitely looked inferior to PS3 & 360 games... (especially Wii Sports) based on what we can view over the Internet (and what was CG Vs actual in-game). I'm also not a big Mario or Metroid fan, so those games really didn't excite me very much. I also thought Nintendo missed a huge opportunity when they failed to release a launch date or price??? Oh well...

*edit* Also, if this truly ends up being the Wii's Classic controller...

Hmm, that classic controller looks awefully familiar for such an innovative system. Are some of the 3rd party companies shying away from developing games with the wand? Understandable since any games made with the "Wii wand" can't easily be converted over to a standard controller, or vice-versa.

Sony-their conference was about two things: announcing the price, and trying to show that it was worth the price...

...honestly i don't believe they did a good job on making it worth the price...

Microsoft-their conference was all about the 3 things they talked about...we know what they were, and showing big things to come. live anywhere, halo 3, new arcade games...

Nintendo-one word...CONTROLLER...that's all it was really about....explaining the controller.

Microsoft showed a more rounded console that conveyed their confidence in their product and their strategy for all sides of their front for the next year and beyond...

I enjoyed watching the nintendo conference the most, but to sell the console, i think that ms did the best job.
In the nint. conference they were playing tennis on the stage rofl.
Sony's was just boring showing us them trying to copy a little off the wii controller and a few videos of games. I mean the spokesman got excited about "real time weapon switching"...wow what technology :hmpf:
360 got me excited the way they reveiled the tattoo and halo 3 video. GoW lookd awesome too

I think they all did well. However, I reserve final judgement after all of the consoles are out.

Uh...You can't give a final judgment on a conference only once the consoles are out ! Let alone when they come out 6 months from now!

It's just to know which conference gave you the most confidence in the products that were shown...
