please help, i really dont know what to do. for the last few days my 360 hasn't onnected to xbox live. i originally thought that perhaps it had too much traffic because of e3, but i still can't get on. it says that either my connection has gone, or theres a problem with my gamertag. when i test my connection, it says disconnected. everything is where it was when it was working, and i can connect to the net on my pc fine. i didnt set up live in the first place, and dont know how i can find out how to do it again. please help fellow 360'ers. thanks in advance, kyle1927
It always amazes me when ppl go to a forum looking for answers that may or not be correct, instead of looking for the official answer first.
1-800-4-MY-XBOX is where you need to start, d00d.

yeah, that's a good point. i should ring america from wales when i'm ten grand in debt instead of asking a 'friendly' forum for free on the net. isn't that part of what it's here for? like i said, it's been down for a few days, i've tried a lot of things, it wont work. could you hear the desperation in my post? hmmm

You should goto http://live.xbox.com and make sure that you have the right gametag and if not then register it. When I went onto http://www.mygamercard.net to check out your stats it is giving me an error saying that kyle1927 is either not a valid gametag or xbox.com is experiencing technical difficulties. If you are registered then it may be a problem with xbox live. You may also need to retrieve your gametag again using the dashboard but be advised that this will delete any saved games that you have on the hard drive. Good Luck.
