I have been playing FIFA world cup which is OK not upto PES5 though. The main gripe would be the wastes of space that play online. When you are leading against a player with an impeccable record amazingly they lose their connection so you cant even give a bad rep. Why some people feel to achieve a high ranking on these leaderboards and would go to any lengths to keep a perfect record amaze me. It is no achievement the game has been created to offer entertainment.

Sorry for the rant but with no friends feature on this game you have to play the T%&"TS from all over the world.

You hit it rite on. The only negative I have to say about XBOX LIVE is that there is to many bad sports on it and the languge gets a little out of hand.

and also the people who go the wrong way in racing games... thank god it's been thought of in pgr but f.ex mgp 06 people go the wrong way and screw up your laptimes. Happened to me on several occasions. Also people often give you bad feedback just because you happen to be better or beat them because they made a mistake on the last lap. all i have to say to those people is GROW UP... you can't win all the time

yes it has happend to me like 10 times while playing FIFA world cup 06, when i'm winning people lose their connection , so I just dont play anymore rank games I just play unranked games it is more fun I think. Also I hate it when you beat someone and they send you a message to offend you last night I beated a guy from france and he send me a message talking crap about the USA..

I tend to stay away from the ranked matches on any game on live as thats where the most problems are and the "poor sportsmanship". It is ashamed that it seems most of the idiots seem to play on the ranked and most of the decent people who want to have fun and enjoy xbl stay in player matches because of the abnormally high abuse in ranked matches.

This is primarily why I don't play online. Too many buggers whining and crying when they get beat or are getting beaten. I have played the online demos but it gets old getting killed by peeps who have the maps memorized, sniping you at every turn.

Maybe that one is because the game doesn't work anymore....lol. The shotgun is inconsistant, the sword is broken, my beatdowns/assasination don't work. It's like Bungie shipped an incomplete game.

No, but on a more serious note, i do hate **** talkers on live. What really gets to me is the little kids. like a couple nights ago, I was playing what sounded like a nine year old girl that kept calling me that bad word for a black person (starts with a 'n').

Wow, I played ranked matched in Full Auto, and never had a problem. I actually ran into people who complained about the problem everyone here is complaining about. That really stinks... But, in you go into your friends list, the last tab there is all the players that you have recently played with so you can give negative feedback!

wow, yeah, little 6 year olds and their crappy ass parents, buying them M games and XBL and Systems, and letting them sware at you. Man, I hate that. Hey, ya know I am 11, But the only M game I play is Halo. It's for my own good. lol. I do not sware on live, though.

If someone gets shot they tottaly flip out!All you hear is F this! that was ffin BS. You ffin suck! You get the point by now! And then they give you bad feedback! not the ones that show up though! They give you like crappy skill level even though you killed them!

I agree. Both my 9 year old and myself play several games on live...one of which is GRAW. She's quite good actually and has her "group" I have ok'd her to play with...other kids...no swearing...just good clean fun. Someone joined a game we were playing and when they got shot, they cussed my daughter something fierce, so I just ended the session. There's no need for any of that...she was really upset. I don't understand why there are zones to choose from but an underground player can play with a kid in the family zone. What good are the zones? Live is great, but I don't approve of the language at times...remember, there are KIDS that play video games, too!

Well, you are letting a 9 year old play a 16+ game (UK rating). Come on, you must not only expect the content of the games to be stronger, but also the players being...less-friendly, shall we say.

I too don't understand how a chosen "zone" alters the experience any, I have noticed that I play very few "family zone" players, but I am not "underground", I am "Pro". Maybe the update for Xbox Live will alter this.

i was playing split screen w/ friend today, on halo 2, no rated. they had people on there cheating their a$$ off. they were disappearing left and right, you shoot them a gazillion times and they wont die, WTF..... I wish people that hacked/mod their xbox would grow up and play for real...

Yea, I hate trying to play a custom game of MLG in Halo 2 but when you get a flag capture or kill someone on the other team someone usually quits. Or if you do something stupid you have to hear someone say "Noob" witch gets annoying real fast.

the worst ones i find are on pgr3, they quit or cheat to win by ramming your car out of the way on a straight, then they get abusive if your do the same to them, i just igonre them when they do and give them really bad feedback. Some people never learn and think its ok to cheat or quit because they cannot play fair. in fact too many people take the games way too serious some time, that tends to take the fun outta the game for me, generally i leave the game for a while after that as i loose interest after some of the things that happen.

Tis true, It is an adult game, but the zones should be filtered better. I get someone from every single zone in one session.

That's all I'm saying. I understand that She plays amongst adults and I take responsibility for that. I have to monitor activities closely as her parent and I do. I can set the family settings on the 360 and leave her in the Family Zone all day long and it doesn't do any good...that's why She doesn't get on live unless I'm there. My point is that there are kids playing these games on live...some of which aren't monitored by their parents closely enough...some of you stated that you have been scolded by kids themselves, so adult or not, there should be some stronger filter for this. All of this aside, we were talking about unsportsmanship conduct and I just think people shouldn't get all worked up like that. Spawn killers suck, too.

Its mostly the little kids that whine or cheat the most. I wish their was a way to pick the age group that you can play with because it's so annoying to hear a little kid screaming his lungs out and cursing every other word when their parents aren't home.

You should probably just take the mic away so he can't here them then. I know it would probably be nice to let him were the headset without idiots on the other end swearing every other word but when a games rated M it kind of draws in the older crowd who don't even think about swearing.

These are the things we have to deal with, the unsportsman- like conduct on Live does get old though. People just take these games to serious sometimes when they are just meant to be fun. I know I have never said a bad remark to someone I did not know personally or an online friend who knows Im not serious. I have noticed that a lot of the trashtalk is from the younger kids who have not learned to keep stupid comments to themselves, it may be a matter of no discipline at home or something along those lines. My opinion on the situation is a lot of people on Live just needs to calm down, respect your opponents and know that most people just want to have a good time on Live and not hear the F-word every 2 seconds. Lol Especially on Madden, Ive found that to be the worse.

That's true. It is quite simple, if there are no rules and regulations for a particular game....people will take extreme measures to ensure they win. Until we somehow get either real referees or some sort of electronic AI version, it will continue.

As for bad sportmanship... Why, just other day I lost a Halo 2 match by one kill, and yet the opposing team had to tell me how much I sucked and how much we were 'pwned'. They couldn't even win graciously, especially when the game could have gone either way.

I had an experience with the new game Table Tennis. I am playing right aganist another player and we have some good rallys and it is a so of close game. He won the first round, I won the second round. It came down to the 3rd round. The score is 10 - 5. I am leading by 5 pts. It is his turn to serve and all I need to one point to win, he pauses for a while and then it says that he left the game. I did get the win because he left early. I just hate that.

You guys do know you can still leave negative feedback to someone who quits on you, right? If you go to your friends list, the next tab over is a list of the most recent Gamertags you've played with on Live. While it might not work sufficiently now, I'm hoping it will in the future, so I use it for both positive and negative feedback. Also, if you know someone is leaving everyone in a room bad feedback, or they tell you they are, report them! It is a violation of the Xbox Live TOS and there is even a reportable section for those who mass negative feedback.

i can't beleve how many people who cheat on Xbox live. like sublime said it's mostly the little kids cheating and they should have a special place 4 older people, and so we can play with our age group that would make Xbox live better and not so many people would cheat EXCEPT 4 a hand full of people

You should try DOA4, someguy was talking to his gf an forgot to turn of his mic, he said some stuff about pouring pickle juice all over her and the wiping it off with bread, and then everyone started talking about dropping the soap in prison and then getting raped by you bedbunk...it was a little disturbing...

Well , wow what a post there infinite zero, and for the guy that lets his daughter play GRAW, kudos to you being a good father and monitoring your child, unlike the rest of America. I am a military guy, and i do have a horrible mouth, partly cause its the business. But if i can tell there is a kid in the game then i am not going to be swearing or i will try and contain it.....i mean geez if you have a case of the terrets then put the mic on mute and do your thing, when your down and calm take it off and play some more. There are a lot of people who are not very good sports, alot in COD2 but agreed they are a lot of kids. It is what it is, you have people from all over the world in a room there will be the inpolite people who can contain themselves in certain places, their mommies didnt teach them right, i suppose.

Oh by the way Spd....again KUDOS and i absolutely love your quote: "Those who have long enjoyed such privileges as we enjoy forget in time that men have died to win them." -Franklin D. Roosevelt.....i appreciate it greatly from a person currently proudly serving...

The new way to cheat on FIFA world cup is bail at half time if you quit the opponent gets a win. The best way is to go back to xbox main page and restart game. Then give them bad rep. I am sorry to point the finger but it seems players from US are the worst.

I dont seem to have as much of a problem with the language side of things, but when it comes to bad sportsmanship i have real issues. This has only really happened to me when playing GRAW, i was playing a non ranked game and got booted by the host as he was loosing to me this is pathetic these people should grow up or not bother playing online if they cant take loosing. Also its all well and good leaving bad feedback etc but what does it actually do it doesnt seem to effect anything other than thoose stars which seem to mean nothing anyway.
anyway i have had my little moan and if i carry on it will put me in a bad mood so i will stop now!!!!

I think CoD 2 is getting worse;

Last night whilst playing capture the flag, one unknown team member was "protecting our flag" and staying at the base. I had the enemy flag severall times and this guy proceeded to try and shoot me and hit me with his gun. But this didnt kill me, so he used grenades to finish me off instead. He then took the flag and scored with it when he could!

He did this several times, but i didnt have the headset on to respond to him. Although i think i heard him through my tv speakers saying "i score with the flag!". Needless to say i left him bad feed back....

Idiots like this spoil it for the rest of us as i just couldnt be bothered to play afterwards. But on the other hand it does make it more fun to target these kind of people in later games!
