xbox media hub question

i have tried to hook my mini disk player up to the xbox 360 using the usb cord supplied but the xbox does not seem to detect the player, does any one have any ideas as to why it doesnt work?

i thought the xbox could stream music from your mini disk player etc

any help appreciated.

hmm i think the xbox probably can't detect your md player for two reasons 1: the xbox 360 doesn't support the *signal* sent out by your md player or 2: i'm not an expert on md players but check the format the songs are in. It can just be that xbox only supports mp3 players... check from xbox.com they might have it on the faq section just my thoughts ....not an expert though
