want to get this game are there any other games that are similar to compare this to?

none that i know of but a lot of thes types of games will be ariving for the 360 soon enough.

Well, it has the freedom/adventurism of Final Fantasy.
Game play as an action/adventure.
Story as, well, I guess kinda like Zelda.
Controls, well, best I have seen yet so I can't compare!
Graphics and sound, can't be compared yet IMO.
