I have never played the game of UNO (interactive or card) until the Xbox Live Arcade game. I got it all down now, except for one thing - the Wild Draw Four card. I thought if you laid it down, and chose a color you own and you were then challenged, that you would have to pick up 6 - not the other player. Because I laid one down, and chose green (I had 2 greens, and 3 yellows left), and was challenged but the other guy still had to pickup 6. It then happened later when a CPU laid down a Wild Draw Four, and chose green. Since he had one card left I challenged it, and I had to pickup 6 only to see the CPU lay down the final card as green.

What am I not getting here?

hmm...! ok I think I know the problem! not exactly sure! but if the wild draw four was the only card you able to lay down then when the opponet challenged you they lost because it was your only available move! it dosn't matter what color of card you choose from it. it matters if you had any other cards you could have possibly used! if you have any more questions then just message me!

Yea, this one confused me a little too. Sometimes the host can switch the options about the challenges too, so maybe thats what that happened.

What it is is if you have to play say a Red 5, and you have a red, or a 5, but still put down the wild draw 4, and your opponent challenges you then you will have to draw 4 and not him.

You're saying you dont have a red or a 5 when you do. and they are saying you do have a red or a five. But if you're telling the truth and you dont have a red or a 5, thats when they have to pick up 6 cards.

I agree. But back to the main topic, I think that the host might have changed the options. Because thats sounds like the right situation to challenge.
