Help!!! I need advice!!

Im getting a 360...but im not sure which one to get....i was going to get a core w/ a memory card and a game....but everyone is saying i need a hard drive to play online...is that true..???....if you can play online and download roster updates to the memory card ill be fine

get a premium you save more money.then you can get the memery card

Get the Premium, it's the best. You don't need a HDD to play on Live, but you wont be able to download trailers, demos, arcade games etc.

Not sure. But the difference between a core with a memory card and a premium is not that much. With the harddrive you get the benefit of downloading demos, downloading trailers, saving music to harddrive, backwards compatibilities. You also get a headset and harddrive with the premium. Don't forget the component cables that are also included in the premium and that nice chrome trim on the premium.

If you can swing it, get the premium. When I bought mine all I could get was a core. I bought 2 Memory units with it and a game. Since then I have bought the hard drive and headset among other things. If you add just that stuff up, I spent roughly $520 before I ended up with a "premium" and I still don't have a wireless controller. You'll end up upgrading anyway...more bang for the buck is the Premium.

Agreed...Get the premium version defenetally.

If you buy the core + 64MB memory card = $340

Thats $60 dollars away from getting a 20GB($100) hdd and a wireless controller ($40).

And if you plan to connect to live, the hdd is definetally the way to go. You're not going to be able to put much on that 64MB memory card.

Dude theres a bunch of demos that you can download good ones to and i think with all the great demos on live that would be able to keep me busy till i get a game!!

I would wait and save up until you can buy a game with the premium. I think waiting to save up for a game while the 360 is in your room is worse then just waiting and buying a game and a 360 together. But some of the game demos are pretty good. I would wait if I were you though.

I personally wouldn't rush to buy something that I would regret later. If you eventually do wan't to upgrade your 360, it will cost you at leas 180 extra bucks (100 for hdd, 40 for wireless, 40 for component cables)

The 360 is awsome, and I can see why you want it badly, as I did. But I'm not sure that settling for less sooner is the way to go. Maybe save up a hundred more bucks so you can get a game+premium system. It'll save you money in the long run.
