Important Info For Everybody

hey guys, i got great news for everybody here on the forums. i was just on the phone with the microsoft peaple and i managed to get some juice out of it.

1. for the people with the dashboard issue with updates, in the upcomming update you will be able to see the featured downloads, exc. because this is a new feature that has not been installed on all xbox 360 consoles.

2. he told me the update will be tommorow , and i should expect to see all the new features and stuff :)

ps. if that chinese guy (microsoft person) was lieing, im calling back and complaining about the wronge info.

The downloads are quick, if you have your 360 for a while then you might remember the update in january this would be comparable to that. Major Nelson (Manager of Xbox live) said that it should take about a minute to download. (it might be download and install in 1 minute) then it reboots the xbox 360 and then your good to go. We'll see tommorow. Anyways tommorow will be a nice day for surprise marketplace content. Hint Hint.

Wow, MS is really screwed up. They make some pretty good stuff. But when it comes to there Information and such, they are way off. Such as realease dates. Or releasing late info. Or NO info!

I would also question if all countries are going to get the update on the same day. An update of this magnitude will be rough on the servers, even if it is Microsoft. When information is release in unofficial capacity like you received over the telephone, any quick changes in plans could make a liar of him. I'm sure MS has figured out when they want to release the patch, but it's now "tomorrow" and while I'm at work, I've yet to hear anyone say their system is updated on the forums. I really hope the MS telephone representative you spoke to didn't shoot himself in the foot.

Well just got off of PDZ, talking to one of my friends who's got " Connections " and he said that the Update isnt coming till Fridy :( NOw i know that i have no proof. But thats what he said, and he's always givin me helpful info.

All we can say is it will be out before the end of thurday. Since nothing is updated on Fridays and Major Nelson said it would happen this week. Unless they find a fetal error which I highly doubt since the updates are already uploaded on the xbox live MVPs xbox 360s and they all run fine. So I guess they're are trying to upload it onto the global servers.

I would have to say that the update will come out next week. Wed seems to be the day that new content is released for some reason.
