I have a 1-2Mbps download and a 256-384Kbps upload and I am getting a lot of lag on my new 360. I have only played GRAW with the connection and I get dropped from games and get my voice echoed back too. does anyone know what the minimum connection speed needs to be in order to play live without lag? Should what I have already be enough?

You should be ok with your speeds. If I remember right its a minimum of 256k download and 64k upload. So you should be ok. You might want to check with your ISP and see if they even support Xbox Live. Some do, some don't.
Now if you got 1-3 computers downloading at the same time as your playing online then yeah you'll probably get disconnected.
You might want to test your connection on your computer. Go to some broadband speed testing sites (google them) and see what you really are getting. There might be something going on with your ISP.
Other than that I would suggest entering your DNS numbers if you know them into your 360s Network Settings. I've read that fixes some problems for some people. If you don't know what they are you can call your ISP and get the info you need as well. So I would suggest calling your ISP.
